Our High School Program provides the opportunity for students from all over the world to come to America and study in a private or public high school. Students will be staying in a host family during his high school years in the US while learning the language and the culture of the country. Every international high school student will be aided by one of our experienced local coordinator for any questions concerning their school or everyday life.

Applicant Requirements

Students interested in joining the High School Program through IEDA are expected to fulfill the minimum of qualifications listed below: 
  • Students must be between the age of 13 and 18 for the camp.
  • Students must have basic English skills.
  • Students must take an English proficiency test during the application process.  Students with low English levels may be placed in an intensive or semi-intensive English language program before pursuing a full-time academic curriculum.
  • Students must be motivated, follow rules and instructions and sincere in their desire to learn and succeed.
 * IEDA and its partners provide English assistance to prepare the student for their abroad experience, if needed.
