SP stands for Heightened Sensory Perception. It is the ability to perceive information when the normal five senses were restricted. This unique sensory can be developed through proper training of the brain.
The International HSP Olympiad (IHSPO) was created:
Unlike the usual Olympiad, IHSPO focuses on the topic of Brain Education, providing ways for us to develop the brain's innate potential, so we can overcome our limits. With the belief that "brain itself is the key to solving all humanity's problems", the Olympiad is designed with activities and events related to HSP that would help develop the brain in all its positive capacities , and celebrates the use of our brains for creative, productive, and peaceful purposes.
The International HSP Olympiad (IHSPO) was created:
- to emphasize the unlimited possibility of the brain, foster new 21st century talent that manifests the abilities associated with integrated brain utilization.
- out of the necessity for a new Olympiad that fits the 21st century — the century of the brain.
- to raise awareness that the brain is the key to solve all humanity's problems.

EVENT TYPEs
The IHSPO tests competitors not for knowledge, but for functioning of neural systems and its faculties.
The Brain Window event tests the ability to perceive colors without ordinary visual sensory to process information, but through your HSP. Contestants are challenged to perceive one of the three color cards that are sealed in an envelope. It is theorized that faculty arises when the brain’s sub-modules are integrated in their functioning.
The Speed Brain event tests for the ability to recognize and remember visual cues (colors, letters, symbols) in a fraction of a second. The HSP Gym event challenges participants to hold demanding postures for extended periods, using motor systems and balance of the two hemispheres.
For Body Sense Perception, contestants use subtle body senses to identify liquids (water, juice or milk) without visual information.
